| The meeting was scheduled to start at 10:00 am. To my knowledge, this is our first breakfast trip, and from all accounts it was very successful. Here we have two of the first boats arriving. | ![]() |
![]() | The
dock space was very limited, so the last boat had to raft up and walk across.
Unfortunately, George Lamb lost a pair of expensive glasses into the canal during
the rafting and climbing out phase. | ![]() |
![]() | Understandably, George was concerned about finding his glasses, but I think I see just a hint of a smile there. The next table was all smiles. | ![]() |
![]() | As you can see, everyone was in good spirits. This was a lovely morning to be on the water, (so I was told), and everyone was in a cheerful mood. | ![]() |
![]() | Chuck and Bonnie's grandkids were there and the owner was kind enough to give them a couple of stuffed animals. The youngest is behind the stuffed animal on the right. | ![]() |
![]() | George was among the winners of the raffle. Hopefully it will help defray the cost of new glasses. They did try to recover them from the bottom of the canal; but with little success. | ![]() |
![]() | The remaider of the boats pushed off and headed out into the river for a wonderful trip back home. Thanks again Yvette, for arranging such a wonderful trip! | ![]() |
