Cruise/Drive to the Waterfront Restaurant on Pine Island 9/3/03

Many of us were relying on the weather reports as to whether or not we would boat or drive to lunch today. As you can see, there were only two skippers who decided the weather report was bogus; and guess what, they were right. The bad weather didn't hit until the next day.

 

This did not dampen the spirit of the day. As you can see, we had an excellent turnout and the day turned out to be gray but wonderfully cool.

Here we are having fun and enjoying a good meal at the Waterfront. We had three new members today, Dave Devine, along with Rich and Marilynn Mahoney. Unfortunately, I was distracted and I did not get a picture of their table.
The picture on the right is a merge of two pictures of one table. That was so the photographer could get into it.

The big winners of todays raffler were: Rusty Ost $20.00, Bill Shallbetter $15.00, Sally Blysma $15 gift certificate, Mary Leonard (Chris Perone's mother) $12.00. Congrats to all the winners.

We also had four guests with us today. Unfortunately, I did not get all of their names, but we are always pleased to have new people check us out.
